(USAE) is looking for a Full-Time Human Resources (HR) Generalist for its Oldsmar, FL Office.
The HR Generalist will be responsible for all benefits administration to include enrolling new employees in the benefits plans, sending out plan information to new employees, reconciling all monthly billing statements and submitting them to Accounting for payment.
They will enroll employees in the company's 401(k) plans, answer employee's 401(k) questions and process distributions and other plan-related documents.
In addition, the HR Generalist will submit all worker's compensation claims with the worker's compensation carriers and follow up with injured employees.
They will perform new hire orientation for corporate office personnel and enter new hire information in E-Verify.
The HR Generalist will assist in regulatory compliance including:
preparation of Affirmative Action Plan logs, assisting EEO Officer in implementation of Affirmative Action recruitment and compliance requirements, preparation of EEO-1 and Vets-4212 logs, performing periodic audits of personnel files and benefits folders to ensure compliance with E-Verify, EEO, AAP, ACA, etc.
In addition, they will monitor FMLA time off tracking and paperwork; and complete unemployment claims and employment verifications for field personnel as needed.
The HR Generalist will also work on special projects for the VP of HR/Admin and perform other duties as assigned.
The qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, and a minimum of 1-2 years HR experience.
A PHR certification is strongly preferred.
This candidate will also possess the following skills:
strong knowledge of Federal and state labor laws; proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook and Access; good interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize and interact with all levels of personnel and customers; must be able to work with limited supervision.
