Job DescriptionPosition
Summary:
Piece part inspection to engineering drawings utilizing various measuring instruments.
Create Rejection Reports.
Notify relevant departments of non-conformities.
Essential Functions:
Quality inspection of vendor and in-house parts Documentation of internal and external rejections via computer software's and server directories Operate a variety of precision measurement equipment and tools Basic knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel and Outlook) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and sketches.
Ability to do in process inspections on shop floor, assembly floor, and QC Lab Able to recognize and identify print markings and symbols accurately Ability to use internal drawing vault to view/measure electronic prints for accuracy QualificationsBasic Requirements:
A minimum of 3
years in a Machine Shop environment Minimum 2 years experience in quality inspections of machined parts Ability to read and interrupted blueprints Attention to detail Ability to articulate and communicate with vendors, engineers, and possibly customers Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred
