Corrugator Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Hood Container Corporation (HCC) is seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as a Corrugator Supervisor on our 3rd shift (11pm-7am).
Hood Container Tampa is growing our operations and starting up a new shift on our Corrugator.
We are looking for an experienced Corrugator Supervisor to lead our team and will report to the Corrugator Superintendent.
This role is responsible for managing plant employees to meet manufacturing and production schedules, providing overall direction to production floor employees, including production, scheduling, performance management, training, and other related areas striving to improve overall operational efficiencies during the designated shift.
This role is responsible for coordinating production operations and maintaining an effective quality procedures and safety regulations for the facility.
How You Will Contribute:
Develops short and long-term courses of action that support the organization's overall vision and mission; balances business, technical, and operational issues when determining a strategy; identifies problems with current strategies and suggests ways to resolve them.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the shift with a constant emphasis on safety, quality, waste, delivery, and cost.
Motivate employees to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
Maintain agility, flexibility, and a willingness to modify one's approach to achieve desired results; responds quickly to changing demands, processes, and updated information.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and enforce control procedures, recommending improvements to the Plant Manager, as appropriatePlan, assign and direct work for all hourly production employees; appraise performance and provide feedback as needed; assist in resolving complaints; hold employees accountable as needed; communicate issues and results daily.

with equivalent experience5 years progressive leadership experience within the manufacturing industryCorrugated industry experienceMust be able to work in high temperature & humidity conditions while wearing proper PPE including, but not limited to, hearing protection, steel toe shoes and safety glasses.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
